I'm driving down through Spain to get to Portugal in August
and we're spending a couple of days camping , any ideas on
where to go??
Somewhere up in the moutains or somewhere i can sit and roll
a fat one in total peace.

I went to a really beautiful medieval town called Gerona (up
from Barcelona) but I guess you'll be on the other side if
you're going to Portugal.

Phiz,

I have been to a nice place in the mountains called Monachil
in the south east.

This autumn I will be visiting amsterdam around about
november (i did not get there last year). If you still want
to indulge in some pints let me know.

Safe Travelling

If you are going to portugal, you can visit Salamanca, but
thats a town, so if you want beautiful countryside you will
find it almost at any place you pass throgh on your trip to
portugal... try to get to portugal the most to the south you
can, that way you will be able to pass through Extremadura
(caceres) which has beautiful medieval villages and
incredible sightseeings.

I am glad you visit my country and hope it doesnt dissapoint
you

thanx nacmat, i'm going to the Sudoeste festival in
Zambujeira do Mar in Alentejo, which is near the south i
think?
i'm just looking for somewhere really quiet and peaceful
where i can chill for a day or two.

so many times when I was a lot younger and I can't wait to
get there again... great country!
