what did autechre use in the early days? i assume they havent always used computers the same as richard hasnt always. but their old sound is so highly processed it intrigues me to find out what they were doing to those analog synthies to make them sound that way. lots of reverb and echo and chorus but does anyone know specifics?
the only thing i am sure of is they use a nord lead 2.

im just baffled that they could take a bunch of analog equipment and make those sounds with it. that is some MAJOR external processing going on and with that much external processing im suprised anyone can bring order to it.
