i have been a big fan of this director for many years -
ever since i saw abigail's party when i was about 14; so i
guess that is 11 years ago. anyways, today i saw abigail's
party on video, bought it, and watched it again - superb!
buy it! also, nuts in may is fantastic, and secrets and lies
is also a very good motion picture

Yo, this post ended a few lines up - what you still doing

mike leigh is godlike - i once saw him get off the tube and

Yeah hes awesome but Topsy Turvy... Eeeeh, that one I could
have done without. Secrets and Lies is still my favorite,
though I havent seen abigails party so I will be sure to
check it out.

Abigails Party is still my fave bit of Mike Leigh....looks
real dated now due to the clothes and stuff but the meaning
is still very valid....

I didn't think Secrets & Lies wasn't a patch on AP
really...but I've only seen it once so perhaps I should have
another look...

And I must see NAKED....I've picked it up a dozen time but
it's not the sort of movie my other half likes so we
generally end up getting something else....Got some hols
this week so I reckon I might try and catch all the decent
movies I've missed in last few years..esp. Naked....

thought SnL wasn't a patch on AP...

Who'd have thought english was my native tougue?...I wonder
