This song is so fucking great...I never hear anyone talk
about it either for some reason. The mu-ziq remix of on is
also pretty good, but I love the reload version, probably
more than the original On. It's like an anime themesong,
feels mysterious yet cheerful and intriguing..aghh I love
it.

it's good, but the u-ziq mix shits all over it imo

Hmmm the reload one is better I think. I bought that single
a long time ago, for 8 dollars canadian. thats like..... 4
bucks american. Geez.... slightly used, but perfect
condition. Its a wicked cd.

I use tot alk about this song all the time. It is my
favorite song ever under an afx release.

mu-ziq is 2nd to it IMO. Reload just picks up more and has
a lot more going on at certain points. Tom Middleton did a
damn good job.

i reckon both are quite good. the Reload mix sounds a bit
too "normal" for me, tho---

Yup, I do too, 'On' is my favorite afx song. Though, the
reload mix expands on it greatly.

Mark Pritchard did the Reload mix of On on his own. Tom
Middleton was not involved

babydie... I always wondered why AFX went for Reload for the
remix...I always thought him & Tom M weren't the best of
mates....muscially, AFX seems a million times more
innovative than Reload (The Orb of IDM ;)...)...

(and yeah, it does sound too "normal" for me even though
it's kinda pretty....the Mu one is a lot better to these
ears and that tape fucking sound at the beginning always
brings a smile to me face....)....

Really, I saw Tom Middleton's name on it at that old
aphextwin.org site. Hmmm, typo perhaps.

When it comes to ON i prefer the original, by far! Nice
video too, by Jarvis Cocker....

Yeah, I got the VHS with On, Donkey Rhubarb and Come to
Daddy.

The original is good, but I just love the reload mix when
it's at it's climax.

Well then you should check out that Evolution compilation on
Warp. It has a few tracks by Reload and a lot of other
interesting stuff.
