... hi all. i'm putting together an rdj tape for a friend
and i thought some of you might enjoy planning something
similar. let's begin.

the assignment:
- design a mixtape showcasing a selection of mr. richard d.
james' finest works.

the criteria:
- mixtape must conform to a 90min cassette tape time
allocation
- use of alternate rdj aliases is assumed, if not expected
- bootleg tracks are allowed (since it's not like we all got
one of those "melodies from mars" tapes back in the day)

turn your pages over and raise your pencils, ladies and
gentlemen. you may begin.

i'm still trying to figure out how i'm going to put together
a smooth mix from gak to druqks and everything in between.
maybe some of you have undertaken a task like this before.
i'm interested in reading how you pulled it off. basically
we're going for the condensed highlights of rdj's music.
this is the tape to hand to someone and say, "welcome to
aphex twin. enjoy."

good luck,

mike

well my tape couldnt have those impossible tracks cos I just
got the normal accessible albums but from those I would
choose:

tha - from saw I
if it really is me - from surfin ...
polynomial-c - from classics
on the romance tip
the garden of linmiri - both from the caustic window
acrid avid jam
alberto balsam - from I care...
on
4
girl/boy song
flim
iz us
windowlicker
vordhosbn
mt saint michel+...
ziggomatic 17

of course they should be put in a way that you change from
one track to another without noticing
