i was under the impression i could open a loop in recycle and trigger each slice via my keyboard? i tried this and got no response from recycle and the only midi in/out stuff i could find in the set up only spoke of what sampler im using, but im not using a sampler im using a sequencer/controller keyboard
?

Maybe it ment your computer keyboard? But I know nothing about recycle. Though your keyboard may not be compatble with the prog, if thats even possible...

I'm not sure that recycle can do that....thought it was just for cutting up samples & then transmitting em to your sampler in one go....
Maybe it's a feature that's added in a ver later than 2 but I can't recall seeing it...
bloody useful prog tho....
How about using something like NI Battery or perhaps Soundforge/WaveLab(not sure if they can do what you need but wouldn't be suprised...check their sites first...)....Also there's probably some shareware progs that would do what you need i.e. play samples via midi....

You cannot use Recycle to trigger the slices via a keyboard.
You can however transmit them and have Recycle set up the appropriate keygroups/program.
It will transmit them either by Midi or SCSI

Owh and,if your not using a sampler, Recycle won't be of any use.
Unless you use it to make .rex files for the loopplayer in Reason.
