I'm eating chocolate cake and listening to A Beautiful Place Out in the Country while the sun is out, seems like the first REAL day of summer to me. It's nice and relaxing in the moist coolness of my basement. Plus, there's a van parked across the street, 24 hours a day for the last few, watching a house through the adjacent woods. Cops looking for a drug dealer or something. My mom thinks someone is faking a disability for insurance or one of those things, and the cops are trying to catch him in the act of NOT being disabled. And that's it. |

let's see... started french in 1997 (bear in mind i was eleven or so at the time). but i've been doing "real", or what you could call useful french for a year. "real" as in i *could* hold a conversation with a french person albeit a fairly shite one :) i'm aiming for a B - my teacher thought i'd fail from the day i walked into her classroom but she was mildly surprised when i got a C+ in the preliminary exams back in february. so it should be ok! thanks for the luck! |
