The most INTENSE song you've ever heard!!!

What is it? I think mine is Vletrmx21... really, I love the
song, and think it is brilliant, but I find it hard to
listen to sometimes because it is so intense...

that's hard to say... but I think Sine Wave by Mogwai is one
of the most intense songs I've heard in a while.

Vletmrx21 a damn near orgasm of sound. Really rousing...

Rhubarb is intense in a different way, makes me intensely
depressed.

yeah, Rhubarb is another...

heh...what do you mean by intense?

"I Lead You Towards Glorious Times" by Merzbow probably
takes the cake.

emotionally intense? very hard to say. among the recently
discovered, probably "penty harmonium"

I dunno, just whatever you'd consider intense...

by the way, the last 10 seconds of Autechre's "ccec" to me
are the best musical illustration of the word "tension",
though that's a different word altogether.

The Fatima Mansions - Angel's Delight

this song is worth tracking down...

The screaming part in Come to Daddy makes me shiver, it's
bone chilling... Roygbiv is also really affecting. Viva la
intensity!

yes, Roygbiv made me cry on the day that I graduated from
high school. I was just taking my dog for a walk and was
thinking of that song. one of those pretty summer moments
that only come around every so often.

probably the first track from gybe's 'slow riot...' ep...i
dont listen to it very often due to its intensity...i have
to be in the mood for it...

other than that...squarepusher's my sound, iambic 5 poetry
and beep street are all right up there...

aphex's arched maid is rather intense, pancake lizard and st
michels mount also

the last few minutes of µ-ziq's approaching menace is
pretty intense in another way however...

offline wayout from the street of crocodiles on 2002-05-21 05:37 [#00227644]
Points: 2849 Status: Lurker

some of radiohead's tracks too...like motion picture
soundtrack, how to disappear, true love waits, spinning
plates, street spirit, etc..

oh, and bjork's bachelorette

and i guess squarepusher's theme from ernest borgnine and
caustic window's fantasia are both rather intense in a
similar way...

The Fatima Mansions track I mentioned isn't available on any
of the filesharing networks I have access to. I checked and
the record is out of print ... so here it is. share and
enjoy.

program : I hate to admit it cos other than that song, I
hate Nirvana, but "Milk It" kicks my ass too. it's almost
otherwordly... there's not much music with vocals that I've
heard with that kind of demonic energy.

The Pappy Mix of Aphex Twin's Come To Daddy is one of the
few songs that has actually given me an orgasm. . .

Fall Into Me by DJ Micro *winces* (it's trance -_-) is also
an amazing song that i like

1-800-MING by Brothers Love Dubs and Aquaphonic by Nickelson
are also some of the best stuff I've ever heard.

The Velvet Underground - Heroin

Björk - Next To Last song (do not listen to this unless
you've seen Dancer in the Dark)

That's all I can think of at the moment.

matters. if i'm listening to pysence fiction from unkle/dj
shadow, and i'm really into it, by the time i get to rabbit
in your headlights with thom yorke, it's pretty emotional
... just how he holds the vocals at that one point.

nin and rage are good too. mt saint michel: i love that
beginning.

or maybe don't go plastic by squarepusher, but the most
emotionally intense song for me is my sound by squarepusher.
especially when that third guitar part comes in... oh man I
could cry just thinking of it. of course spinning plates by
radiohead fits in there too... goosebumps everytime i hear
it but thats because I saw it live at blossom.
