Im on the market to get a portable recording device. I dont
know too much so if neone knows anything about this topic
pleaes post :)

so far ive heard of portable minidsic recorderes, i dont
know if they make portable dat recorders, labtops and the
old school tape recorders

is there nething im missing ?

I'd go for the MD. I have one and it's small, has excellent
battery usage (1 AA), and records cd quality sound...Plus
you can get a good one for around $200...
