I thought its high time I get some new clothes, but I want to get some clothing by design companies with nice, interesting designs. I'm particularly interested in japanese motifs and symbols. I was looking at theDesignerRepublics stuff and yet again I come across this elitest stupid attitude that covers so many of my favourite things. A)Why make everything so limited!? B)Why make everything so stupidly expensive just because its by them. A notepad or keyring for £5, a A1 poster for £50!? I mean, come on! Is there anywhere that sells things with nice creative designs that have sensible prices? Cheers |

i saw a RAWKUS hoodie which was like £20 more than any other hoodies in the shop -- totally pissed me off - so i ended up buying a talib kweli/DJ hitek T-shirt for a more reasonable 20 quid --- i really hate elitism and exclusivity grrrr |

I usually by cheap clothes, it's only my style concious girlfriend and my brother that buy me "fancy" clothes. I don't mind well made stylish clothes, but some branded stuff falls apart in 2 weeks waste of time if you ask me. I hate having to wear suits for work. Expensive, uncomfortable and IMO they don't look that good. |

Yeah I once made the mistake of buying a £40 pair of combat trousers from gap. Within weeks the buttons had come off, six months later they fell apart. My friend got similar trouser for £10 in an army surplus store. 3 Years later, his are still wearable... |

If you buy their jumpers, you wash them once and then they're too small even for your 18 month old cousin. Bastards. I always loved C & A but they've closed them down. I wept at the doorway when they closed the store for the last time. It was the end of an era. |

i dunno, they seem to make those rephlex shirts in spurts.. they stoped for a while, and then started again..and i havent seen any for sale in a while.. ebay is actually a good place to look for obscure shirts, not everything is 'official'.. but you can usually tell |
