ive bin reading up on him coz he sems to be interesting..i would like his music if i could ever find it..but what made me most curious is the Merzbox? duz anyoine have this, its apparantly a 50 cd long album that lasts for 2 days....whats it like? |

Merzbox is his whole discography compiled plus another twenty discs of new stuff. It came out in 2000 and there are 500 made, and the price is a bit high, about 500$ as I can recall. nah its the schools comp....my own is so slow yould think it was steam powered. if this is typical merzbow then i wont be buying much of his stuff :S |

It is rather typical, intensity-wise. Here he uses grindcore samples, otherwise he uses other samples but it pretty much breaks down to godawful noise. I love it. |

well, it is a remix of a gitar and drums and voice band. but you should check out his pulse demon album: pure feedback whiteout. I listened to it yesterday afternoon in the bus and people around me gave me some strange looks. |
