There is a nice alignment of planets now and with the new
moon, there should be some good stargazing.

Here is another link with more detailed info. Scroll
down to Episode #2-15.

So grab some binoculars and get outside tonight ...

I tried tonight and couldn't see anything! I couldn't find
the moon ... oh well it's supposed to be a good view for the
next few days.

Dood.........the skies here are CRYSTAL clear and the moon
is awesome. it's especially interesting to me since this is
my birth week =0)

i fortunately live in the mountains where it's pitch black
and i can see HUNDREDS of stars........=0)

The skies here are not bad for being so close to a major
urban area, there's a lot of light pollution. That wasn't my
problem - either I was stupid and couldn't find the crescent
moon or it hadn't risen yet.

Best stars I've seen are camping in Big Sur, California.
Wow!

My dad is talking about getting the attic floored and a
skylight put in so he can stargaze and look across the
Bristol Channel.

He probably won't do it, he still hasn't done the pond in
the garden yet, even though I said I'd dig it for him :(
