the way i do it is (if u have a creative soundcard that is) to use a function called "What you hear" to record all sounds coming from your computer with a simple wav recorder.

if you doubleclick on the speakericon in your taskbar and in the mixermenu select Preferences (be sure that you marked everthing that kan be marked)
Select advanced futures, and somewhere there will be a function to record the sound from your computer. If not, try downloading the new drivers from creative.com
