I am @ me place right now, on my roomates computer, and I
don't have anything that can convert bmp's to gif's. I have
a bmp that I want to convert to a gif or jpg. Most of me art
stuff I do at my dads place on my computer. There isn't even
the proper software here :(

Would someone with the proper software and messenger be able
to help me in the next hour or so? Thnx :)

maybe possibly lview pro. you can get an evaluation version
at -- what is it? -- download.com. decent ...

Or just get on kazaa or soulseek and find the full
version...Jasc Animation shop would do the trick too...

Problem... not allowed to install any software on this
computer. Otherwise I would have something that could do the
trick.

Is it a PC? Just use the paint program that came with it if
it is. Open the picture and simply "save as" whatever
format you want...

Well, what I meant in the question was could I send it to
someone and they convert it for me.

I will give them credit for the conversion.
