What the fuck?
I've just come back from the Munich stop and they only
showed ONE video! And it was Plaid's Eyen which I already
have on the CD. Apart from that and the show finishing at
3am when the programme stated till 4 it was fucking
brilliant.

Phoenicia were really good with their two Titaniums, haven't
heard them before so was pleasantly surprised, kind of
Autechrey with spikes.

After they were finished Russel Haswell played for 20
minutes (10 of which I could stand). He is so crap!!! I'm
sorry but I don't know how anyone can listen to one swirly
sound going up and down and being distorted for 20 minutes.
Not my cup of tea at all.

Things improved dramatically though with Ovuca. Just sat
behind his iBook for the whole 45 minutes and gave a little
smile at the end when he realized how appreciative his
audience were. The whole time Richard Devine was watching
how mental everyone was getting, dancing their socks off and
probably thinking "Can I top this?"
No shit!
He ripped the whole place up. After his amazing hour-long
brutal, but very danceable set he played distorted versions
of 160bpm (off 2 Remixes by AFX) and 54 Cymru Beats.

When he was finished Luke Vibert took to the decks for the
second time (the first time was downstairs in the DJ only
room where he laid down some killer acid tunes) and played
some really hard stuff and a few old Warp classics like
N.O.W and LFO. Oh and Homewerk.
Just before the end of his set, he turned the volume off for
2 seconds to shout "This is the last record, by the way!"
and proceeded to finish it.

All in all a great night with some killer tracks played.
Just a pity about the lack of *promised* videos and the show
ending earlier than stated.

Oh well, I've got my Warp Magic Bus tracks on now. :-) I'm
happy.

And before I forget, MAJOR props to phunqie for getting me a
ticket and therefore making it possible for me to go in the
first place.

Anyone else been to any of the other shows?

hey - i was in cologne on thursday - GREAT STUFF!!!!!!!

and they showed video the whole night, even at the beginning
dj(tom patton) - they even played aphex ambient one songs in
a cool mix :D - richard devine was killer me thinks, too ...
phoenicia nice but not really my cup (too straight in a
way)... plaid were amazing (great films all along!!) - so
dreamy ... but on the other hand really hard, which i
didn´t expect, but that comes off my lack of knowledge of
their music i guess ;)...

the warp bus cd is also great i think (even one astrobotnia
track - i LOOOOOVE it - the one with "i wanna kill ...")
