yo. architecture is cool.
I lived with a wannabe architecture last year and he introduced me to some very funky architecture.
You should all check out people like Gaudi and Frank Gehry. They're like the 'idm' of architecture.
guggenheim bilbao by frank gehry..
sagrada familia by gaudi

maybe you're thinking of Casa Mila, also by Gaudi. It got some weird stuff on the roofs.
supreme,
I want to go there too! It's either Bilbao or Barcelona. If you go to Barcelona you've got many Gaudi buildings to see, not much but the Guggenheim in Bilbao. But it's awesome.. so I don't know.
I was dreaming of going to Barcelona the same time as the Warp bus for a nice warp/gaudi holiday, but I can't because of work.

I'll go to Bilbao anyway. LeCoeur told me you can look at the building for hours! (and there's also the inside) But I won't stay there for two weeks, I guess I will in Barcelona.

thanks, i just did a search and found numerous philosphers and others quoted as saying it. i won't begin to search for the original quote... maybe it's just an ancient truth that people come up with seperately time and again.
"Architecture is Frozen Music, Music is Liquid Architecture"
-Galerie Jousse Seguin, Paris, 1999
that architecture by gaudi is beautiful. the building in the second link was very organic. gehry built the weisman museum here on campus (u of minnesota), but i'm not too fond of it.
