funkmaster, why is the drugs that are bad? ain't their
fucking fault they are abused by addicts is it?? you say
"agreed!" to PUSSY...but would a rape victim be bad because
some sex-addict felt moved to forcibly fuck her? i doubt it
--- same principle

man, I'm not trying to push my views on you, and you're not
going to convince me that drugs are ok... I'm just stating
that I think drugs are bad news... it's my opinion... if you
don't agree, well it's too bad...

and man, rape is always an extremely bad thing to do...
there is no excuse... if you assumed that I was saying that
a rape victim would be bad in that situation because I
agreed with Albertobalsalm, then you my friend are wrong...
I did not say that... and I did not imply that either...

i said that i doubted you would find a rape victim to be
bad--- have another read... i was trying to make you see the
ignorance of your statement "drugs are bad"... i never saw a
drug pick up a gun and shoot someone in the head -- so why
apply a human condition onto drugs? and where do you draw
the line with drugs? do you drink soda? put sugar or salt on
your food? if so, you take drugs -- is it just drugs the
government say are bad that you "think" are bad? pray, tell
all....

hmmm, yes, it's still the person that makes the mistake to
take too much drugs... but, to relate this to guns... guns
by themselves never kill anything right? And so, couldn't
you imply from this that it's the desire to kill that kills
people with guns? Well, what would be wrong then with
letting a 5 year old play with guns? What reason would they
have to desire to kill themselves, or others? But, mistakes
do happen, and you obviously wouldn't let a 5 year old play
with guns because a mistake could easily happen, and the gun
could be shot off and the kid, or someone else could get
killed... well, mistakes happen, and with drugs they are
just as likely to happen, no matter how educated you are on
drugs... I think drugs are an unneccary risk, and I just
don't have a desire to put my life at risk in that way... if
you do, then go ahead... just be careful...

and no, I think all drugs are bad for you... in some way...
some more so then others... I do drink coffee, but I know
it's bad for my system the amounts of coffee I drink, but I
still don't believe I'll ever overdose on caffeine from
drinking the amounts of coffee I do drink... maybe you'll
come back at me and say it's hypocritcal of me, but I still
think drugs like cocaine and heroine are TOTALLY different
from caffeine... with cocaine and heroine you're putting
your life on the line every time you use them pretty much,
with caffeine it's not like that... and yes, I do know that
some drugs like marijuana are not close to being as harmful
as cocaine or heroine, but still, I don't have a desire to
use them... and I still think marijuana, like caffeine, has
a negative affect on the body, and is still bad, but not as
bad...

so you are saying that the guns aren't bad, even if a
5year-old picked one up (being the responsibility of the
gunowner) and drilled a hole in the head of another child?
therefore, guns are dangerous if in irresponsible
hands....same as drugs. banning something because
irresponsible people can't handle them is not a real
solution -- it is a lazy, ill-thought out answer.

and if you think marijuana is bad physically, why are so
many doctors in favour of its decriminalisation? do you have
any evidence or is it just an implanted "instinct"? drugs is
a blanket term used by the ignorant to disguise their lack
of intelligence and/or knowledge

I don't see anything wrong with using a bit of drugs. I like
LSD, and consider it one of the only illegal drugs I still
use, along with MDMA. I don't smoke pot. I don't smoke hash.
I don't use mushrooms. I don't do anything hard.

I hate drug dealers. I hate those people that like to smoke
as much pot as possible, and then argue its for medicinal
purposes. I hate drug culture.

This is where I stand.

Yeah, drug dealers are almost always horrible cunts.
Legalize hash and the most widely available drug's dealers
are gone. Less hassle :-)

erm, couldn't think of anything else to say about drugs that
hasn't already been said.

high that you start breathing all weird and your heart
races, far from an overdose, just too high.

I don't want to sound mean when I say this, but I think
using absolutes in talking about drugs is an indication of
ignorance.

Of course, I wouldn't touch a lot of the harder drugs with a
really long stick. But marijuana used in moderation is
harmless. Even when abused the only negative side affect
really is that the user doesn't do anything other than sit
around and watch movies. Not really much of a life, but not
dangerous to any degree.

Honestly, I feel that alcohol is far more dangerous than a
lot of light drugs. How many people die per year from
alcohol related incedences (drunk driving, public violence,
poisoning, etc), and then look at the ammount of people who
die from Marijuanna, Hash, Mushrooms, LSD, Ecstacy, etc.

But like I said, I don't really like drugs.

Taxidermist: thanks for the great comment, because we hardly
have anyone on this site that will say something like that
without enjoying drugs.

Im tellin ya, its the misconceptions about drugs that hurt
people more than anything. Half truths and such.

I used to touch the hard drugs on an hourly basis, being an
addict for so long, and eating LSD like candy and all the
rest.... so many different drugs to try..... so many.....
100's.

Thats in the past, now I smoke some pot, and drink, thats
it. Thats my choice, I could care less what anyone else did.
Its not my body.

Jedi Chris: do you want to know how much information ive
read from actual books and reports NOT on the internet? I
was taught that one part of rehabilitation was to read about
what I was doing with my life, and a large percentage of the
internet is misconceptions and half truths and ignorant
opinions such as yours.

They have proven the most effective way to let kids know
drugs may be bad, or can be without moderation is by letting
them know all the facts, instead of going "ALL DRUGS ARE
BAD". Thats ridiculous.

When you know someone who has died from drug abuse, then I
am entitled to such an opinion. So don't lecture me about
ignorance Reflex!!! To think that it is cool to use any
sort of drug, even in moderation is stupid. Using the idea
of moderation to justifying having a good time is ridiculous
- what happens when you enjoy yourself too much! Let me
tell you what - it'll be too late! Corn mouth's friend was
lucky!

It doesn't take a medical professional to figure that out...
just a little common sence. Besides. Most health
professionals will agree with what I have said there. A lot
of that little rant I gave above was me paraphrasing what I
have heard from health professionals on the matter.

I really dislike government control over drugs... or
anything for that matter.

I would just like to add that in Canada, harm reduction
clubs and growth of Marijuana for medicinal purposes is, for
all intents and porposes, legal. This I feel is a good
thing, altho there are a lot of assholes out there who get
something like a small headache and then say that the smoke
pot just to kill the pain.

Once again, I am going to clarify that I do not smoke pot,
or use most drugs.

chris :-

contrary to whatever school/govt. propaganda you have been
exposed to, not EVERYONE takes drugs to be cool -- whole
tribes base ancient rituals around the imbibing of a certain
drug at a certain time of the year -- there are lots and
lots of people who take psychoactives to explore outer
reaches of consciousness - they aren't hanging around
schools saying "this is cool -- take this peyote button or
you'll be out of fashion" - there are people who take hash
for pain relief -=- prescribed by doctors, who ARE medical
professionals.

you are using old and tired arguments mainly put forth by
ignorant swine, brainwashed mothers and other beasts of
burden

chris :-

people who smoke a joint and feel relaxed - you can class
that as being a medical purpose

people who take psychoactives to explore themselves - you
can class that as being a medical purpose

before you accuse me of twisting your words, i am not -- i
am just using a different yet legitimate definition...people
take drugs for lots of reasons, and when someone comes along
and starts preaching at them, they tend to get annoyed --
maybe even hostile -- so why not just admit that you aren't
in a situation to comment? so someone you knew died of drug
abuse? single case -- anyone who tries to apply a specific
case to a general argument is ignorant in the ways of
logical thought...
