from what i understood i thought you were sincerely
answering their questions and participating in the pic
exchange and such? i mean that's all good if the person's in
the same age range, but personally i don't ever do that with
girls that are too young to date (not that i'm available
now; i do have a lovely girlfriend who frequents this very
mb) cos it's pointless and leads them on.. problems, as you
said :)

Titsworth, the age of consent in canada, or at least BC, is
14.

yea you said that, but obviously 14 is not REALLY a
responsible age, despite what can-a-dia says ;P

Well, I tend to be a rather good judge of character. I felt
that this girl was a lot more mature than other people who
were at the time my age.

It really depends on the person.

In canada a few years ago, the let a guy go after they found
him with tons and TONS of child porn, because he wasnt
selling it, so it was deemed somewhat legal.... not that I
agree with this man and his deeds but I agree with the law
thing.

say two people are going out but the male is 18 and the girl
is 17 and the law makes it illegal for them to sleep
together, making it child molestation, what if they love
each other? someone said it'd automatically be wrong, I
disagree, I know a line has to be drawn somewhere but the
law and what's morally right or wrong is completely
different. Whether you want to take any risks though is up
to you but it shouldn't make the person bad (though I
suppose it could be the same for an older female? I don't
know the law)

yeah and in spain the age of consent is 11 I think...its far
more to do with societies taboo's and what they deem as
wrong than what is actually wrong

agree.

we are after all socialised ape-mutants with learned
behaviour codes and boundaries. Look beyond the veneer and
we all have a dark side

I think there is a difference between child porn and teen
porn. A 14 to 17 year old is not a child. And what's porn? a
picture of nudity or hardcore sexual acts? And then there's
the question if it's done with the cooperation of the person
that is being recorded.

We tend to cover it all with the term 'child porn', I think
people should be judged by the seriousness of the offence,
also by the general public.

John is in no way a child pornographer IMHO, he didn't even
download it on pupose and besides he deleted it
afterwards...

fuck, i'd never liked to be judged by the general public,
those guys are so cruel! they'd maul anyone to death

I don't mean punished... I mean how the general public
thinks about the offence.

Even if you don't go to jail, which you should :D you know
you'll burn in hell.

The best is just to go down to your nearest police station
and confess (and tell em George W Bush was in on it).

yeah, they'd all say it was a terrible crime and probably be
doing it themselves!
