tune/phob.... how about.... when a topic gets closed, 100points get taken off any members who posted in the topic. maybe that would deter spammers? |

exactly... most dont care about points, but if someone gets negative points then they would be recognised as a general twat :) and yes, quite a few spammers seem to do it just to get their points up. |

i am appauled by this whole conversation. penaltys for posting? why! its harming no one. many times what started out as a useless topic had grown itno a useful one, or at least an insight as to how other members of the board think. |

A straight 240v current through their mouse should do it. but only 17.3 points ought to be deducted, or 2.7 points for each offensive word, whichever is the greatest. Plus a 14-minute "sin-binning" (username blocked for 14 minutes). Plus re-habilitation session of 2 minutes staring at a picture of a field of lillies. you know it makes sense :D |
