I mean okay wMw a few others have been raving on and on
about Lexansculpt which is not bad but failed to impress me
as much..because for me the ultimate IDM Flash site
unrelated to any musical artist has been Praystation..check
it out for yourself and especially try the machine series's

Praystation.com

The guy behind PRAYSTATION, Josh Davis, is really great
guy...I used to be a member of Dreamless, an undeground
design board he used to run & had some great times
there...(so underground that you had to read the HTML source
in order to get in the first time...which kept out a lot of
trolls etc..)...

He's got a CDROM out (which I think you can still get from
his site...)...pretty cool if you are into design / flash
etc...

oh yeah, Check out his Tatoos if youget a chance...

i knew this one guy who had a "praystation boxset" it looked
like a little playstation 2, and had a bunch of cd-roms in
it...the guy was homeless and was a jesus freak, and was
def...

i was dating him, and a def girl whom i had also met at the
same rave i had met him; i brought him to my house to hang
out after a party...and the fucker desecrated all of my
fucking "evil (hardly)" memoribila when i left for a quick
snack/drink at the local gas station...ever since then i
just thought that the pray station was crap...and i read the
little bio that was included...crap...

the design of this site ur mentioning might be coo' but
after an experiance like that...PSSSSSSH!

that sitecontinues to amaze and confound me everytime I
visit it..you saying it's all a work of one guy?..amazement
ensues..I mean I really dig the hi-res guys stuff as well
but they have whole teams working on stuff....where can
check out your stuff jand?

I'll see if I can dig up a pic for ya, nano...from what I
recall he's got his entire back and arms done with a huge
Japanese Koi Carp design and some inca/aztec stuff on his
arms as well....

What was that homeless guys name, nano?...we we're a pretty
tight cru at Dreamless and I might well know him...

flea...yeah, it's one guy but a lot of those pieces on PS
are done as collaborations with other people...but Josh is a
total workaholic and the amount of stuff he does is pretty
jaw-dropping...He used to work at Kioken in NYC but nowadays
he's freelance and is moving more towards the proper Art
world...

oh yeah...Josh Davis/Praystaion is not Josh Davis/DJ
Shadow...just a conincidence...

http://www.shift.com/content/9.1/85/1.html is a great, in-depth interview with JD if you
wanna know more about him & his work...

Flash Design & IDM do seem to go real well together..it
always seemed to be the music of choice for most of the
designers I've known; AE get namechecked all the time as
great music to work to...

bestflashsites.de

is the only address you need to memorize to get access to
about 380 of the coolest Flashsites at your finger tips..a
lot of them are commercial..but a lot are full of fun and
interactivity....

and Jand have you seen this guys work?

v2d.two.ru
not much of a scripter but has some really cool art and
excellent glitchy sounds to accompany his work...

and
cmart.design.ru

man this site is breathtakingly beautiful..more gothic than
IDM but pretty amazing nonethless....

Hadn't seen those....very nice...thanks...

The new Flash MX looks very cool...I've got it but haven't
had a chance to play yet....

The sound stuff is massively upgraded, so expect some smooth
stuff in that area and also, you can now access the LineIn,
so should be able to get stuff that reacts to mic input...

Also support for WebCams....

Also check out K10K.net for daily updates/news on the
web design/art world....

and Yayhooray.com for a great web design MB...set up post
Dreamless with a lot of the old Cru...

recommended...

smooth...perhaps we could get together on something...

I'm a hardcore coder so we should be able to come up with
somespecial...I've been wanting to do some sort of Geneative
Music thing and these new sound features make that
possible...

hmm..interesting i am more of a designer..illustrative sound
etc..there is this idea I am working on in my head..maybe a
collaboration wont be a bad idea...I might email you the
last thing I did..very primitive compared to what's out
there..and all the links wont work because it's a front for
my portfolio..but you might get a pic of my Flash/Design
(in)ability...heh..
if interested..say yep here and I will fire up the email..:)

I guess my computer can't handle it, I clicked on the
"machines" I guess that's what you're supposed to do, there
were very brief animations of clouds of minimal color that
went at about 1 frame/ second which is slow.
