Ophecks said on another post that he likes to cruise around listening to "Tha."
So, I was wondering what a few of everyone's favorite songs for driving around are?
Some of mine: Aphex Twin - Analogue Bubbelbath 3, track 2; Squarepusher- Plaistow Flexout; Autechre - Yeesland; Gary Numan - When the Machines Rock; Nine Inch Nails - A Warm Place

MHTRTC is a great one to drive to... great beats... also, Daft Punks Homework is a nice dance album to get you hyped up!!!!
Overall I like softer music when I drive because I drive a lot when I'm in comtemplative moods, and stuff...

Good choices, everyone! I love driving and I love listening to music. I like a lot of vocal music, too, while drivin'. There's something magical about cruising around listening to and singing along with some old stuff.

I always drive around the block an extra lap or two just to hear the end of a track. And I ALWAYS take the scenic route around the city to get as much music time as possible... the car is where I get a lot of privacy, and I drive around like a fool with no destination just listening to music sometimes.
I wouldn't do this if I had to pay for gas... :-/ (thanks, mom!)

depends where/when I'm driving, who I'm with.
but if the conditions are ideal (summertime, sunny, slight breeze, between 3:00 pm and 8:00 pm, long, open road with big, lush trees off a ways from the road, with a passenger who doesn't mind my music and doesn't talk very much, but smiles when I look over at her and understands that I don't really have a destination in mind and I'm just out for the ride and she is as well), then it would have to be, hands down, "start as you mean to go on".

dude! io totally agree...but my old car ate gas like no'ones biz...
anyways...it all depends on mood and atmosphere...someitmes i like afx...some times i like other techno...when i'm riding w/ the homies, it's always nin, or manson (i used to drive a '95 black camero), and if we'd be high...then it's old school rap...like NWA, or bone thugs n' harmoney...
