Today is the first day i've actually heard this track..I
can't believe how frenetically good this is..I avoided
buying confield in the past cuz i found it difficult to get
into, but i think i'll buy it anyway, give it some time..

ross, i think you should. i didn't like it for about 6
months, then i gradually started getting into it...now it's
my fav autechre album. my fav track at the moment is lentic
catachresis, check it out

I think aphex and AE are very different.

As for Confield, get it! I enjoyed it when I got it and
thought it was fantastic. For myself the longevity wasn't
there like some stuff. I have to be very much in the mood
and setting for it. The creativity is matched only by few.
This albumn love it or hate it is exeptionally good.

yea apples and oranges i guess, just my opinion

Confield: imo one of the most crystal clear expressions of
pure creative spirit delving into the far reaches of the
musical fronteir i've ever heard and i listen to music from
many genres. also for me it has the most longevity of any
album i've yet heard. not to be missed!

yeah, that track is definitely one of the highlights off of
confield imo.

Pen Expers is by far the most accessible track on the album,
the rest of Confield is not as easy to swallow, except for
maybe Cfern.
