My grandma just died, I'm not sad or so,she was on intensive care for two weeks. we saw it coming, I already said goodbye. but I feel very weird... I'm 20 years old,and in those 20 years,no one close to me(family/friends)died. It's the first time such a thing happens to me... |

I know that feeling, when my granpa died a couple months ago, it just didn't seem real for the first few days untill I saw him at the funeral. My condolences. |

sorry to hear about that. a friend of mine recently lost his grandfather and he too was expecting it. but a few days later it really hit him. you never know which direction grief will take you in, sometimes you don't feel it right away. take care! =( |

My nan died about a year ago, we weren't particularly close -she was losing it upstairs, she didn't know who I was half the time...- but it was the first time any of my relatives died. As morbid as it sounds, I would have liked them to of had an open coffin at the funeral, so I could SEE that she had died. It was quite hard to really accept it when I hadn't seen her body. My condolences to you and your family. |

i remember sometimes i didn't really felt sad/moved... or didn't really thought i felt though, cause my face turned white, i looked bewildered and all that... weird... it's like i was lying to myself, or like some part of me was moved but not another... |

Yes, my great aunt, who I was pretty close to developed alzheimers and died about as year later, it was pretty sad, especially with such a debilitating disease :/ |

My grandmother died when I was around 22 or so. I hadn't had much contact with her since '89, so it didn't affect me too much. Plus my outlook on things prevents me from getting weepy eyed over things like that. |
