I just thought, after listening to one of my fave afx
tracks, Cow Cud sounds like a taking-the-piss-out-of-hip-hop
song, doesn't it? The hihats all sound like something your
granny would "chooch-chooch-chooch" along to if she came
into the room whilst you were listening to it. I also do NOT
understand that into peice.... sounds like he's taking his
dog for a walk, when he thinks all of a sudden he might just
slam the door or drop a metal crate on the ground for a bit
of fun. Ver strange but one of the best afx tracks ever.

Yeah I love it. I recognize that synthesized voice was
actually used in at least one Outkast song. It doesn't
really remind me of hip hop though...but does seem to be a
toungue-in-cheek kind of track, just for fun

Really? would like to hear that in those Outkast sogns... my
sister has their newest cd, so maybe I'll nick it for a day
:). I love the bit where the drums all that's left and you
hear the massive reverb on the drums. I can't make out if
the snare is just the sound of him dropping the crates
pitched down, and then he rerecorded the music after he did
the song in his room, so it kinda sounds like he did it in
the future before he did it or something... bit like those
book covers where the persons holding the book and the book
is the person holding the book, ect, ect...

yeah cow cud is a fun track, not one of his best, but
definetly good, I like how the drums, synths, and background
bell sounds mix together so well and force you to bob your
head. Another one of those lovely versatile ICBYD tracks.

U know, i only listen to ICBUD for Acrid Avid Jamshred,
Mookid, Alberto Balsam and Cow Cud. Non of the others matter
to me, nor do I like them, but Cow Cud is prolly the best,
or maybe Acrid. Not sure.

I don't see why so many people dislike Start as You mean to
go On, that track just blows my mind

I think its a cool track too. I like most of the album, but
not as much as drukqs for some reason

yeah, Drukqs is better for me since I like more than 4
tracks on it, lol. Start As U Mean To Go On, I can't say as
I'm fond. Maybe I'll give it a a chance l8r on.

i think most of richards tracks can be kinda tongue in
cheek..some more subtlely than others...

ive noticed that cow cud's beat sounds very similar to that
of sp's friend track

...which as i listen to it..has to be the most underrated
squarepusher tracks there is...imo
