As far as I know, the Joyrex EPs J4 and J5 are both by
Caustic Window, yet something I read today suggested that
one of them is by the Kosmik Kommando. Surely this isn't
true. I know that Mike Dred was involved in some way with
the Universal Indicator series, but was he involved in any
way with Joyrex too?

im also interested.....if reflex, phobiazero, joyrex or the
other afx "pros" get here....they will clearify this.....

Well I'm almost certain that the two EPs are both by Aphex,
but something I saw on ebay suggested otherwise.

Caustic Window is an alias of RDJ.

Kosmik Kommando is an alias of Mike Dred.

The Joyrex EP's are by Caustic Window, and the Universal
Indicator EP's Blue and Yellow are by Kosmik Kommando.

There is no known connection of KK to the Joyrex series.

the back of the caustic compilation CD reads:

CAUSTIC WINDOW = Richard D. James

(So who did UI Red and UI Green JoyRex?)
