I already have, I wanted to know what they thought of it.
Mike P replied immediately and gave a polite answer.
Rephlex certainly are lazy, look at their website for god's
sake!

Looks like they attended one evening class on web design.
They should hire the guy BoC used for their site...

You can't even browse their catalogue on the website, how
stupid is that ...

Analogue Bubblebath 3 LP was on ebay recently and in the
information field the seller put:
More information: www.rephlex.com
Like, YEAH RIGHT! It's not mentioned once. Planet Mu's site
is really nice but IMO nothing beats Warp for a fun,
innovative and FAST design interface. And the shop is just
perfect.

i think they actually say at their site that they wont be
giving anyone feedback about their music...as they
supposedly recieve tons of demos a week...as well as tons of
inquiries similar to your own...
apparently they will only contact you if they are interested
in releasing your stuff

i would not send demos to rephlex, too. unless at least 10
people tell me that i kick richard d james ass ;)

phatbert: if you want to release something, you should
contact some small labels in germany, netherlands or
something. everytime i send any mail to these labels, i get
an answer very quick.

i will send in a demo soon.

yeah, I'm definitely considering Spezialmaterial. map told
me about them. I'm going to send a demo to them pretty soon.

tell me how it turned out then :)
but somehow i think it's very hard to get signed these days,
because everyone is making music :/

it's important to remember there are only 3 people at that
office rather than loads and they havce kgotta be busy -and
if you send a demo their website does have the details of
what happens - so its a bit silly to get upset if it doesn't
go your way - but the website is crap i recogn really shit

I recogn it's hard to get signed cos everyone is making very
similar music
