The album "Straight Up" tributed to Lynn Straight from the
band Snot is a great fucking album. feat. lots of heavy

i actually WANT to be proved wrong...i just dled the cure's
tribute abulm, 1000 tears...crap...and i have things the nin
tributes, and even a brian eno tribute...all crap...but i'd
like to listen to a decent tribute abulm...heh, infact i
have a merzbow tribute somewhere, and it's the sitiiest
piece of music ever...not anyone can do noise...and that cd
proves it...anyways, i hope u ppl can find me one...in the
mean time, back to dling manson vids...

There's an album of reworkings of Serge Gainsbourg stuff by
some really reputable artisits. I don't know what its like

Heh, I have the Carpenters' tribute album "If I Were A
Carpenter" and it's not all bad.

Sonic Youth does a cover of "Superstar" that's really very
good.

But you kind of have to steer around the Cranberries and 4
Non Blondes. :)

yeah that dm tribute is good! not all of it though

i have an industrial tribute to the smashing pumpkins, which
is utter crap. there are labels dedicated to making tribute
albums, you know. don't fall for it too easily (like i did)
