yeah...I recall fucking Gerry Anderson going on about how realistic his new set of puppets for this show was...
Needless to say, they were about as realistic as a Lego Dinosaur...
But that Zelda woman was pretty cool tho...that was her name wasn't it?...

Yeah my mum comes from eastern europe so saturday mornings meant having to go to a special club to learn the lingo and culture. I hated every minute of it. All my mates were in bed or having a laugh whilst I was stuck in a classroom that resembled a communsist soup kitchen.

The baddies scared the shit out of me and still do. There's something really creepy and unsettling about those puppets. Especially Captain Scarlet. If i ever watched one of those shows when stoned I'd have a nervous breakdown.

I feel your pain . I had to go to church every Sunday until about the age of 14. Catholicism is a curse as a child. I always wanted to be a Protestant because all the Protestants I knew never went to church.

My mums culture is catholic but thankfully she was never too hot on religion. The wierd thing is the older I get I find I have more time for it. I know it goes against everything I have been taught but having lived in Italy last year I saw religion in a differenbt light. Us Anlgo-saxons got it wrong. Church in Italy is a place you can go to and just chill out and contemplate things when all outside is so hectic and hot. I used to love going there. My life back in England is completely unspiritual, and I definately lack something for it.

I think we kick against what we grow up with. I rejected religion and embraced communism. My mum thought I was going to get in trouble at first and never get a job. She still gets anxious when there's a demo in London and thinks I'm there getting pummelled by coppers ha, ha.

my parents were very religious, took the bible literally. But their version had a misprint...they beleive in 'faith hop and charity, and the greatest of these is hop'.
So every sunday they spent the day hopping. Hop out of bed, hop to church, hop while serving hot gravy in the sunday lunch (we all had to bring umbrellas to the table), they hop here hop ther, hip while listening to hip hop, till they hop back into bed. it made me hopping mad.

Terrahawks was one of my favourite programmes years ago - it was one of the only 'puppet' shows I liked. I used to watch others like Captain Scarlett, but only usually because nothing else was on!
Zelda was real ugly wasn't she?

No, I forgot to book the day off work. Doh! I went last year but it was useless because there were too many piggies. It should be good this year.

I have just scoured around for info and by the looks of things alot is still under wraps. This could prove interesting. I don't particlualry want there to be violence but a bit of rabble rousing would be good.

I think the non-violent protestors will have the sway this year. There'll be way more with anti-war, pro-Palestinian supporters and those who have been taking industrial action this year. Though I wouldn't be surprised if the police do some skull-cracking.

i think there're more things than those we can see w/ our eyes and shit, but imo christianity is just one big bag of commercial shit. You sinned??, go 2 church and pray so you wont go to hell, but dont forget 2 pay big dough to the catholic community (catholics are the worst) Last day i went to the sacre couer in paris (dont know how to spell it) and inside the church there were soooo focking many sculptures and gold plated artworks and stuff, but below it (its on a hill) lies the most poor part of the whole city.... somethings wrong here...
