Love this guys ambient stuff....and he didn't let us down live. Especially when the visuals featured footage he had taken on the way from the airport to his hotel/the gig.......which is where i live. So there we were were, having done some hash yogurts, tripping out on some class down-tempo beats when i see before me the local childrens playground we go to after raves...............what a buzz!! The venue people kicked us out at 22.45 to make way for the next gig....A FUCKING DISGRACE!!! ANYONE FROM DUBLIN...AVOID "THE SHELTER"....they haven't a clue!!!!!!!!!!!!11111 |

nah...i haven't got my shit together to record stuff at gigs yet.....The live stuff he was doing was: sampling acoustic guitar riffs live and looping 'em & importing 'em into his iMac.....plus he had a cool wrist-torch and was doing his japanese-techhead borg-like poses at the crowd....blowing bubbles too, and he seemed well up for it even though the muppets kicked him out (during track 5 of Sakura...that really powerfull boom-boom tune.........scandalous).... |

I would love to see the guy live. His albums are amazing. So, was someone else playing the acoustic guitar live, or did he sample it from other records...or did he play it? |
