"Is rez out on the DC then?!

I must have it."

It certainly is! Well atleast in the UK and Australia! Sega
of America went all crazy at the end. Atleast Sega Europe
continues to support us DC users!!

We musn't let Bill Gates get the console market too. He
already makes people think Windows is better than Linux-
next he'll be convincing us that M$oft games are better than
Nintendo or Sega ones!

"next he'll be convincing us that M$oft games are better
than Nintendo or Sega ones!"

*shudder* Hope that day never comes! Though I think Nintendo
and Sega have enough intelligent fans to stand the
brainwashing!

Ha hahahahaahah! Yes, boo to the XBox! The only reason why
I'll be getting one is to play the Sega titles and some of
the fluke good xbox titles/title :)

And I really think your idea is great Ceri.

Yeah, I heard they scratch games if you don't clean them
regularly.

Nes is the king! This weekend my SNES mains adaptor broke
so I used my old Nes one- 10 years+old and it works like new
:)

And when you hit side barriers it echoes.
When you go over boost pads it shifts the music up/down a
key. When you hit mines it sounds a cacophony and when you
recharge/refuel it could change the main instrument.

Memo to people that made the Dreamcast commercially fail:

Thank you very much! If the Dreamcast never failed Sega
would still be in the hardware business and not how they are
now:

A third-party software maker that also has to port awesome
Dreamcast software to the former rivals consoles. If this
didn't happen the sequel to Sega GT, Jet Set Radio, House of
the Dead 1 & 2 and among others would be only on Dreamcast,
thus I wouldn't have to pay Microsoft for there XBox to play
YOUR games...

Has anyone played Vib Ribbon with AFX! It's wicked crazy!!

Oh yeah, and has anyone played Parappa 2? (The latest one).
I played a demo of it and enjoyed it a lot and was going to
buy it when a friend said it was really short? Is it a good
buy?

Yeah I've played vib with AFX, some tracks are impossible,
others are suprisingly easy (considering the musical
complexity). I think I played it with BoC's MHTRTC too.

Nintendo make their consoles so beautifully! They almsot
never breakdown!

XBox, probably broken down in two seconds!

"commodore 64 still rulez"

I have fond childhood memories of playing Commodore 64 games
:)

I wonder how hard it would be to find one now... don't tell

But when U actually play some of them games U wonder how the

Fuckin'hard,....

I agree, that's the one thing I've noticed over the 15+
years I've played games. They've actually got easier! Try
playing a NES game now compared to a say and N64 one. It's
amazing I ever got of level 1 of Kid Icarus!

Thats very true! Perhaps a dumbing down of hardness to sell
more? The mainstream might be tempted to leave if all these
games started getting hard :)

MSR not too easy on the later Chapters though!

oh, I've owned, (or had for long periods of time):
NES, SNES, Jaguar, Turbografx16, X-box, Playstation, N64,
Playstation 2

everyhing pales in comparison with SNES tho. X-Box is
garbage, so is N64. Turbografx16 is fuckin awesome for
anyone who's never played it I recommend you try to find one
on ebay.

There was some early 80s arcade game that had a small van
der graf generator in the joystick and when you got a high
score it made your hair stand on end!

You'd have to be pretty sick to pay for something to inflict
pain when you lose. Just agree that the winner of a 2 player
game gets a free dig at the other person ;)

I think written communication improves your ability more
than vis a vis communication. You can't gesticulate so
you're forced to choose your words more carefully.

Re: DC emu, Pretty darned high!

I don't think they've got sound emu at all yet. I know the
saturn ones haven't...

I freely admit I'm not as good as Chris at SF2, although I
sometimes beat him. I always just list the reams of other

I'm also a firm believer, that when playing 2 player games
with someone, that if you don't let them win a few matches,
then they'll get bored and demoralised, and then won't
play!
