who has watched this show?
who LIKES it?

...i do
its such a good show, imo, its REAL "reality tv"
the people in this "adventure race" are insane!!!
imagine going for 4-8 days with (in some cases) almost NO
sleep (just a couple hours in total)..
....moving the ENTIRE time:
hiking
kyacking
repelling
climbing
horseback riding
biking
LOTS of walking.. (well, hiking)
and navigating ur way so u dont get lost in teh new zealand
wilderness

i love this show i watch it every year

hm... i probably should have made this clearer

its SORT OF a show... it happens once a year an some
inhospitable part of the world..
its more of a sporting event, then they just document it w/
cameras... following certain teams

...its just a HUGE race... (like 400 MILES)... a lot of the
teams dont even finish
the ones that finish move 24 hours a day for like a few
days...
...the last place teams finish in like 8-12 days..

its very impessive, the people who do this have to be
incredibly fit
oh, and they're carrying a 100+pound pack the whole time

yeah i used to enjoy watching triathlons when i was younger
- i am deeply impressed by these hardcore people!

I watched some parts. It must be really hard since people
like us (not perfect sportsmen) are trying themselves.

i dont know..
...it was on every night at 9:30 for the last week (starting
last sunday night)
but then it wasn't on last night... so i dont know if its
over or what
hopefully not..
