Im listening to Selected Ambient Works 85-92. I didn't remember that this album whas so great. I say its the best album he have done sofar, im so happy! |

SAW85-92 is brilliant!!!! He never reached the same emotional level in anything since imo... the whole album is just so damn full of feeling, it's great... I love all his stuff, but SAW85-92 is my favorite... |

and it doesn't mean I think his other music is emotionless... quite the contrary actually... but SAW85-92 for me just overflows with emotion... I love it to death!!! |

heh, my dad used to teach a my school years ago, and my sister still would skip off... she got busted so much... then for high school I went to a different school, and would skip off every second afternoon or so to go to movies, and we only got busted once or so... it was good fun... :) |

That album of Sigur Ros is such a touching album. I dont understand a word he's saying but then you dont need to, As for Selective Ambient Works- that album also touches me. |

nope, on the entire album theres like 2 tracks which i think are ok. For the rest i think it sounds like cheap trance-like tunes. I KNOW this stuff was ahead of its time and i know he was young when he made this but still i like his more mature stuff a lot better. I'll take back the 'wish he never made the album' comment, because it was probably a very important foundation for the rest of his work. |
