Hi,
I've noticed that I prefer listening to the first 3 albums by Boards of Canada (great band) on CD, but that I prefer listening to Tomorrow's Harvest on Vinyl, because for this fourth album, I like to flip the record between side A and B, to change the record between B and C, and to flip again between C and D. This manual activity fits my experience of this music and allows a breath between some of the tracks. But for The Campfire Headphase (for instance) I'd rather listen to it from track 1 to track 15 without interruption.
For the moment, I only heard Inferno via a streaming platform (uBlock blocking the ads between tracks). Perhaps I would enjoy it better if I flipped sides of the Inferno records??!
What's your experience? Are there some albums you prefer to listen to on CD/digital rather than on Vinyl or vice versa for the exact same purpose as me? (or for still another purpose unrelated to sound quality)

Yeah, I love the way it makes you slow down and savor a bit. Big artwork, tactile flips, the whole ritual.
I also enjoy cassettes on a decent but imperfect/modestly priced player. It's the particular wow and flutter.
I love stochastic music on digital, especially massive catalogs with lots of warmth in the masters like Recollection GRM.
