I think part of the reasoning is that he makes so many tracks he can't be arsed to give them a proper name anymore, and lots of the names referenced the gear they were made with, so its like (mixer type) (synth) (mix 7) or something like that. It's not very easy to keep track of as a fan. I suppose there is only so many verb noun combos you can have Having said that I do prefer the only titles, like Ptolemy, Green Calx, Analogue Bubblebath, evocative stuff! |
