Do you think ufos have really visited?
I dont. I totally believe they exist with lots and lots of alien life. But energy expense is universal and travel costs energy. To come all this way and spook a bunch of rednecks and never get a good photo op just seems like an unreasonable waste.

I remember reading that go go 99% the speed of light would take the entirety of the United States energy output for 50 years. Don't quote me on that tho.
Ofc the obvious retort is that they go faster than light via some method but that still seems like a lot of work and technological investment to hover over an already paranoid guys house and never say hi.
