some folks recorded this song off the radio a while back and kept it unlabeled on a cassette. (pirates, mind!) around 2007 they joined or founded a community for like minded nerds that had recorded songs they could not identify. the only hint was a 17khz dent in the spectral analysis that made clear which radio staion it was recorded off. So the radio station gave out all setlists they had from 1984, but still the song wasnt identified. After a number of false claims and illegal uploads, 17 years later the band was finally found. Believe it or not, this actually made the federal news this morning. its one of the rarest slice of life stories ive ever encounterd in the news and it a good one, :) |

story is a year old anyway, no idea why it glitched into the news the other day. didnt have the mind to properly read it, but it lightened up my day. music nerds and a band that never made it past the first year, cmon thats heartfelt. |
