Subliminal Sandwich

Anyone checked this out? It's just about the greatest
sampler-based album ever. I hear quite a few folks say that
Meat Beat Manifesto was a lot better before S.S, but it's
been one of my favourites since I was a freshman in high
school.

if anyone here is a meat beat manifesto fan... they should
hear storm the studio...

I've heard that, too. I just re-ordered Subliminal
Sandwich
, actually, that's why I brought it up; maybe
I'll just stock up on my MBM in general. Thanks for the
heads up, I'll see if I have any luck looking for it. :)

also check out jack danger's stuff.
most of it is mix stuff not original.

but, if you are lucky you could find some SHC (spontaneous
human combustion), which is a project that jack worked
on...
i don't think anything was ever released though.

also, check Shadow records for jack's solo stuff...

Sublimina, yes completely agree there in every sense of the
word. one of the more amazing things i ever bought.

Storm the Studio i picked up at Warehouse of all places used
for $5.99. the Mute CD release. didn't like it all that much
though i can see how it was original in its day.

both that album and Armed Audio Warfare are ok but nothing
i'd listen to on a regular basis

it starts getting better on 99%. there are some very good
tracks on there like the classic "Dogstar Man/Helter
Skelter" and "10 x Faster Than the Speed of Love" but the
line of brilliance is crossed w/ Satyricon. that album is
awesome and i only gets better from there.

SS yes is as we've said, rad a fuck, but Actual Sounds and
Voices completely rocks the house. AS+V is the kind of album
where you can't hear it right off but when you do, it's like
"How could i have not seen this?". i mean you really smack
yourself. i could say that album has the best quality of
all. MBM only gets better over the years.

K, were there any legit people here to talk about Meat Beat

change.
