if fleet doesn't want to be admin belb is the best choice
really.

also marlowe you say you've changed but you're saying that
you should have access to the discord and the guy from watmm
shouldn't because you don't like him? and you think we're
going to believe your reason is because he's not an xlt
member? really?

off on the wrong foot, he's a pretty chill dude. also like
others who wandered in aside from that theo guy with
mihouse's dad energy

it really is.

If I do decide to transfer ownership of the discord at some
point it will be to belb, or someone similarly chill and
based.

I promise I will never, ever russelldust the place, and I
hope no one ever does.

now that the darts are thrown, I'll retire into my
apartments

oh one more thing, I think that the twitter stuff is true
fleet you have to take that, and if you decide to step down
(shit is looking like it was for Mubarak in 2011 a bit) I
think belb would get my vote

you know that you can and should have multiple admins right
hyperflake should have been one from the start, i've said it
before
i do have moderation experience so i'll come back if you let
me fix your shit

offline Tony Danza from Fabulous Hollywood on 2025-02-25 19:14 [#02641372]

Belb is now an admin. I'll make hyperflake an admin when he
returns.

Indeks has been an admin for ages but is never around.

dariusgriffin is too twitchy and easily offended to be an
admin. Like Roger, probably why darius feels an affinity for
him.

I don't want to be an admin, I think Fleet is doing an
excellent job, really fair minded any everything, I've got
absolutely no problem with him whatsoever,

Its amazing the unintended cascade effect you can have in
life, imagine how i felt now if Fleet dropped being and
admin walked outside and got hit by a bus or something, just
cos I was stupid and threw a wobbler at him for no good
reason.

I've done a 69 in the past I can't say i enjoyed it much,
its kind of like someone in the cinema walks in with a big
head and sits down in front of you

Shame. Shame on Fleet. Pride and Hubris is his undoing. As
night follows day the Scolder in Chief has been scolded.
That's his way and it's the way he must follow. Pity his
distant cousins that need to hear his impotent rants about
"Zionism" whilst he ekes out a living on Etsy. Shame. Shame.
A dark chapter is coming to a close.

Shame.

wolfslice, alright i hear you,
though i dont really get the censorship criticism.
germany has one of the finest tax payed tv landscapes.
every opinion is showcased from different angles.
every major topic has had its fair pro, conned or critic
piece,
from economy, to migration, climate change and how to deal
with it.
every politician gets invited.
a person i disagree hard with does the most watched year in
review show,
against many other peoples opinions.
and that is just the federal stations im talking about,
who in their shows tear down every politician,
from left to right or inbetween for their flaws .
and the free press is free press and obviously is allowed to
showcase their political opinion no matter how stupid it is
based upon.

european military / us budget in nato is a different topic.

not easily spoken about in a line or two.
eu has been ratifiying increasing funds ever since the
ukraine war.
for an ally to pull out now is not a trustworthy thing to
do
and is imo based heavily on a sell out to putin and to
harvest ukraines natural ressources. i think its a filthy
deal, though i admit new borders is one of the most
realistic outcomes for peace, however long that may last,
with putins ambitions to expand to former ussr size.

anyway politics are a sensitive topic because most of us
feel there is A LOT at stake these days. so an occasional
line designed to tease someone can seriously hurt. even
among friends.

Mr. Ijon (thick dreads anymore?)!no this is how it happened.
I don’t think Mark knew I was 3.048m behind him the whole
time watching him. He looked a little drab but pleasantly
happy to be out and about, out doing errands and not
attacked and somewhat isolated to a computer. The sky opens
up and life will be okay.
Rip Colin, we often think of you mate.

When I'm feeling generous I assume Americans don't realise
that limits on the freedom of speech of Europeans are
mostly about curtailing all the holocaust denial.
When they're still not feeling it and I'm not feeling so
generous I remember that what they mean by freedom of speech
is the freedom to be a public racist.

oh is that what jd meant?
i mean nazis were just horrible and imo deniyng it should
not be allowed to be printed or publicised in any form.
neither should be the call to hurt people for any reason.
call to violence is rightfully against the constitution in
germany and always shall be.

its a joke jd brings it up since now they actively shut out
media from the white house they dont approve of.
and that is just point one in an endless list of media
manupulation and mass desinformation.
hes just taking the piss at us and rubs in our noses what
they get away with.
but hey its a free country or kingdom, not sure which it is
prefered to be called today, but im sure the white house
will let us know.

yes, jd's speech was all about how bad europe was for not
allowing putin bots and their nazi assets to run free and
shit up every corner of our intellectual landscape and hold
fake elections to prop up putin allies. it's not good.
