Warp Update 15th November 2024 Exciting news from Warp Records. New album Cowards from Squid, landing 7 February 2025. Look out for the first (of many, we hope) single, ‘Crispy Skin’, with video by Takashi Ito. Crispy Skin. The new single by Squid. It's called Crispy Skin. That's what they've called it. And if that wasn't enough there's English Heritage, the debut release from TranceParty, which is mixed by Evian Christ and Seretide. Essentially a collection of mash-ups— berserk, ecstatic pop remixes —that have created such a furore at TranceParty nights that some fans have been spotted pirating them on the dancefloor. Yes. Pirating them on the dancefloor. And then there's some Autechre live sets where you can hear how pleased Sean is with himself getting MaxSP to do some scratching effect, surrounded by 45 mins of the usual joyless Ae Live doom gloop. |
