Ok, I just bought the album Tourist by St. Germain
yesterday, and so I'm looking around online for some reviews
and all that stuff... and what do I come across, but a Jazz
website picking this album as the best JAZZ album of 2000...
now, it's obviously jazz in the music, but there is also
house beats and stuff mixed in, so you might think that that
would scare away jazz purists right... well, I guess not...

Here is the link

Tourist really is fabulous... I've listened to it nonstop
since yesterday, and he just blends the jazz and the
electronic so well... Land Of... is my favorite... I love
the funky beat, and the cool echo effects on the horns in
the second half... but the whole damn Album is excellent!!!

My favorite off Tourist is So Flute. I just thought
Boulevard was lame, ill actually go give it another listen
right now, I think I was just disapointed it wasnt as
amazing as tourist.
