they tried to bore me as a weapon. you know how jury duty is boring? at a certain point I realized they were literally scraping the barrel as hard as they can for anything but calling my name because I'm supposed to get impatient and instead I'm just staring at them and watching them like a screensaver and starting to ask questions like what is that widget called and people are laughing at my jokes and I have to admit this did not win me favor with the judge but when the prosecutor unloaded what was clearly a bunch of baseless cop salad even the judge who does not like me, had to rapidly cut it down, no you cannot hang on to him for bail $500 see you September 18th. this is still a thing I have to deal with but I feel much relieved now. this is like being afraid of a Rubik's cube |
