didnt know sophie was trans but that's cool. It also makes sense why big would link such a generic track (woke pointz). Otherwise I know she liked autechre which is neat and it was sad that she died young. |

I listened to it 3 times now and while it never locks in or becomes particularly interesting, the production is nice. Sick sounding kicks at 1:00. It just doesn't dial the fuck in the way I want it to. Women rarely dial the fuck in musically btw. |

the way sophie's tracks are produced and mastered all slick and plastic and expensive tends to really aggravate me but i suppose this one is alright. i don't think i want to listen to it again though. the only sophie i actually like is the autechre remix of bipp lol :( |

i was very skeptical that Sophie was an actual person after that... i thought it was someone retiring a persona, cos all i'd seen of them was that live set where there is a muscly trans dude playing the tunes... but if you hear Sophie talk about eg. autechre there is no doubt that it was indeed them... just liked playing with personas (dont we all) |
