last month was apparently "mental health awareness month" and i was apparently underaware of this. i'm aware of mental health awareness now, and apparently it's over. mental health awareness has had its month in the sun. fuck off mental health! i do consulting codez and i go to the store and it's easter and why is the store closed? why am i confused? because i didn't know it was easter, i went to the store, the store was closed, i was confused, then i posted about it on xltronic. that has happened four times now, and it's also because no one gives a fuck about me for easter, they're off with their families with a 9-5 job i at least felt a little more in sync with things. that was a nice plus. i didn't miss easter those years because everyone in the office talked about their easter shit and so at least i didn't waste a drive to the store for a few years easter. i think the wabbits are actually starting to be, like... so over with me? i swear one rabbit saw me and it went like "i'm a rabbit i'm terrified freeze he's still walking run oh it's just that idiot and it's fucking hot out so i'll stop running" but then i'm still walking and the rabbit is still a rabbit and it's terrified and freezes but i'm alright sort of? so the rabbit stops running. ping-pong. ping-pong. four times like that. make up your mind if i'm scary or not rabbit, jeez |

falling out of bed is generally not considered a skill. this is because there's usually no challenge gradient to it. my parents, however, were very industrious. my father installed wooden leaves so i would not fall out of bed. i knew they were there so i wouldn't fall out of bed. i thot: "what is the deal with that anyways? i guess i have to just try it for myself" but they've made it difficult. how do people fall out of bed? oh! they roll too hard. so the answer is for me to roll over so hard i fall out of bed, that will defeat this cloying safety mechanism, and i can see what this falling out of bed thing is about anyways it was actually, in retrospect, very yoga-ish. i rolled over. i kept rolling over. i'm rolling over very hard. into the wooden barrier. i'm rolling over the ledge, which is now quite a drop with the added height of the safety barrier and then i'm crying and dad comes running |
