honestly, bar some very specific expert contexts, at this point i just don't see how the word could be useful in political discourse, except for raging antisemites to maintain plausible deniability. it's not worth the confusion if you're truly only using it to mean "supporter of the current israeli government" (which is a very reductive usage of a concept that has a very long and very broad history). dan i don't want to ruin our moment but if you can't manage a she i'd really rather be he'd than they'd lol. |
