(1 + 2) remake

I'm *really* enjoying Tony Hawk right now. I forgot how
much I enjoy this game.

It just came out on steam. New engine, but it's a great
remake. combos feel good and the mainstream punk music is on
point.

I wont lie, I *really* vibe to this track. I don't
even like punk much, too upbeat. track just works.

at first I was like "I'm too old to get good at this again"

but playing 8 hours a day for 2 weeks, fingers all calloused
up, I can say that I'm back to fucking tony hawk's ass like
the old days.

Never broke my wrist playing a video game.

He mumbled something on a pod cast I saw that he said Two
was his favorite one because it’s all that #1 couldn’t
be. He doesn’t have full control over the rights but I
would hope homie gets his fair share of input!

down to the wire, only a few things left for steam 100%.
Some multiplayer stuff to do with the wife, grind to level
100, and these "Hard To Get There" challenges which require
to you link specific gaps in a single combo.

Mall: Stairway Down challenge just took me 4 hours of practice to
complete. It's harder than that mofo makes it look.

he never struck me with a decent personality,
always hated to see him punch his dad and terrorise his
parents, as a grown up, it looked way beyond pranks imo,
but, wishing him good health and better decisions in life.
cant unchange your past, but change who you are,
if you want to.

Bam went off the deep rail hard!
Looks like he’s trying to put himself back together but
the booze truly took over his life. It’s like he likes to
run into walls full speed for fun? Sad, dude had it all

Yeah looking back it was a fun schtick for shits sake and
you know if mommy and daddy didn’t like alligators or
being woke up, they could have avoided it. I’m sure they
got a house a few cars and a few trips to London out of it.

Knoxville and the gang wouldn’t let him join, I mean like
your 30-40 endless days of drinking and drugs are over. Have
some fun but braw looks straight up wreckless

surely i dont know what it was like behind the curtains.
that show might have been a way to work it out for him and
its likely the whole family benefit from it.
the way he yelled at them and stuff just seemed to me he
actually had some issues. anyway wish em the best like all
misfits.

i have been riding my skateboard irl. i faceplanted at about
20 mph over the summer and was surprised i didn't break my
orbital socket for how bad the swelling & black eye was.
haven't really gotten hurt since though. probably ollie over
some curbs this weekend.

achievement: get.

complete all "hard get theres." it was hard, and took many
hours, but I got there, 19/19 completed.

this one gave me the most trouble. I did it
exactly as shown, with 60+ hours of practice behind me, and
it still took 4-5 hours to get down. harder than it looks.

Done with Tony Hawk for now, but it was one of the more
enjoyable games I've played it the last few years.

the worst part of that was the very first thing, at the
beginning of the clip. The initial "launch to banana" is a
blind jump at a weird angle, very easy to over or
undershoot. Probably a 30% success rate with practice, and a
very annoying re-position reset after failing it (you have
to start from a dead stop to have a chance at connecting
it).
