So, I was ziping around Zulu records today, and found Aphex
Twin's 'Sellect Ambient Works 85-92' (or whatever its
called) and Kid 606's 'Dont fear the Technigues'. Both were
$9.99. I hid them at the bottom of the 4th and 3rd collumn
of the 'soundtracks' section, respectively, just in case any
of you guys might want to go pick them up.

I also saw the new Roots Manuva cd in there as well.

Thnx :) (blushing)...

I can't guarantee how long they will stay there tho... cause
the staff at zulu look out for that kinda thing. So it would
be best if someone went down there and got them right away.

Respect

If any of you guys go near Tyler, Texas, I have hidden some
cds at the Hastings record store. Look in the spanish music
section. I always put them in the top right corner.

You know what would have been better? If you were a
helicopter pilot who happened to have a laptop on board and
you dropped your bagel right over vancouver and where
warning them with a 'heads up' via as many messageboards as
you could find before it landed. or that was a simpsons
episode.

I'm waiting for the baron to say he was hiding some weird
item in his shoe or something.

Damn Damn.........I wont be in Van till May maybe
June......ehehhe. I always buy loads of CD's and DVD's when
i'm there. I like Charlies on Granville for used stuff and
A&B sound and Future shop rock when they have sales. I'll
have to check out Zulu when next I'm there. Where is it
located?

Its on 4th and Maple. I live on 2nd and Maple... so its
really close and convenient for me :). They have a nice
Vinyl collection, a great used section, and are chok' full
of stuff thats usually hard to find and imports. They
usually cost a dollar or two more than A&B for their new
stuff, but their sellection more than makes up for it. They
also give reasonable prices for any cd's that you want to
sell, and base their rates more out of obscurity and demand
than what is in the top ten, so you can usually find a
healthy dose of nice used stuff in there too.

Also check out scratch records at 725 Richards for nicely
priced imported vinyl.

Yer a character there Taxi.
I actually originally bought Sel 85-92 at Zulu back in 1997
for erm about $40,-!
But $9.99 (?) is a steal for anyone who doesnt have it yet.
Trust me, buy Sel 85-92 over any KID 606 any day of the
week, because its pure genius...

Yeah. I no big fan of the Kid. But for some reason I have a
bit of respect for the guy. You know, using anime for his
album art, and publishing Cex and Gold Chains and shit.

Plus the Tigerbeat 6 label maskot is a cute anime tiger
kitten. And the symbol is a paw. Reguardless of how horrible
his music is, he has personality, and personality goes a
long way.

Plus I thought that there might be a couple people here who
liked Kid 606, as well as afx. And it looked like a rare cd
too.

I am a character?
