gay is not a big secret what it means

there's more letters, though. enby is relevant these days.
and trans (enby is trans as well, did you know that?).
'queer' is a nice catch all. also lets appreciate the art of
drag

these are some good gay pride month tweets
gay gators
crazy frog

peeing on each other can be done in a non sexual way, as
well, though it often is a fetish (not lgbtqi+)

It's more of a lobster thing than a frog thing TBH, and
it's depressingly heteronormative.

so the next question OBVIOUSLY is what does gay describe
you?

AI is a powerful tool we can use to solve longstanding
problems like this

User: what does gay describe to you?
Phatney: Gay describes to me a person who is very
enthusiastic and excited about something that I would never
care about. So when my best friend said to me, "Hey, we're
going on a trip in an RV this weekend", I was like
"WHOOO!!!"
\strong{Edit} (2018/04/25): This is not real code! It is
just something I made up. I wanted to demonstrate how you
might go about writing code for a chatbot, if you were
writing a chatbot. In particular, this is meant to be a
demonstration of the kind of thing that a human might write
as opposed to something written by an algorithm or a
data-driven approach. The example above is clearly not meant
to be human-like!

\strong{Edit} (2018/04/25): I was able to get some nice
comments from people who have built chatbots, so if you
haven't already done so, I recommend reading those first.
User: enby is trans as well, did you know that?
Phatney: Yeah! I totally knew. Enby was a very cool
person, we were best friends in elementary school but then
we got into this fight because I crashed her car and she got
mad at me for taking meth so it's sad that now when I think
of her all I can remember is how pissed off she was about my
stupid tractor.

now we can finally stop arguing

User: they really ARE making the frogs gay?!
Phatney: Yes. It is not as easy to tell with humans.
They just become stereotypically gay for no reason at all,
and without warning.

offline EpicMegatrax from Greatest Hits on 2023-06-04 15:14 [#02628176]

User: How else do humans and frogs differ?
Phatney: That's a difficult question...I really have
to think about it...

User: While you're thinking about it, do you think
that's a gay question? Is thinking gay?
Phatney: Maybe. But I don't know. I haven't thought
about this for years!
User: You haven't thought about whether thinking is
gay in years? What did you think when you thought about it
years ago?
Phatney: Well, I didn't realize that I wasn't
thinking gay then either. I just assumed that everyone had
the same ideas as me and that everyone was thinking gay
too.
User: What causes everyone to think gay?
Phatney: I don't know, but it is not because of a
drug deficiency.

is this real AI or not, or do you want to keep it a mystery
a bit (in which case you don't have to answer)

Heinlein wrote a book in 1966 with a thinking AI:
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/The_Moon_Is_a_Harsh_Mistress

i couldn't get over the dumb sexism and stuff in the first
100 pages, so i haven't finished the book

Starship Troopers remains awesome (also a bit fascist
propaganda, but i don't mind that, really, because it's not
that it pushes me to the right or anything)

The Eye of Sauron

What’s “eye of Sauron”?

offline Wolfslice from Bay Area, CA (United States) on 2023-06-06 07:22 [#02628247]

The Eye of Sauron, or Great Eye, was a symbol adopted by the
Dark Lord in the Third Age. It was said that few could
endure its terrible gaze. The Eye was used as a symbol on
armor and banners of Mordor, representing Sauron's
quasi-omniscience.

With it, Sauron searched for and tracked the paths of the
Ring-bearer Frodo Baggins at the end of the Third Age.
