good but must americanize your recipe by replacing nasty stilton with pepperjack cheese (and broiling it on top 2 min in oven to finish)
i'd probably also ditch the marmite but I've never had it. I'm imagining something rough.
We also don't really have any bread we simply call "brown" here. At least, not in california. Perhaps you mean rye, as it's the most brown. I'd probably go with sourdough.

that sounds bangin, i'd never thought to combine marmite and hp, and this comes from an inveterate sauce mixer
what i do is sieve off the bean juice and replace it with a bit of encona and hp, microwave while yr toasting 2 bread, add grated mature cheddar and swirl it all around the mug to melt it in, then tip it on the buttered toast and make it into a toast butty

to be fair I'm pretty sure we have brown bread but don't call it brown bread.
We do have something we call "white bread," which is like wonder bread, really trashy bread. It's sole use would be peanut butter and jelly if you're under 10 years old.
I looked it up, and though google is a little ambiguous about it, i think brown bread is just what we call "whole wheat" 'round these parts.
Also yeah I'm a bit fat, perfect American. I say no to Stilton cheese.

the best diet for me would be to put stilton cheese on everything
because I would completely stop eating.

not beans on toast but still kinda toast. pizza toast.
How to Make Better French Bread Pizza | Kenji's Cooking S...
planning on making that tomorrow the next day, the pepperoni and jalapeno one looks grubbin'.
I'll probably make some homemade ranch too for dippin'.
homemade ranch:
3 tbsp. buttermilk 2 tbsp. sour cream 1 tbsp. mayo 1 or 2 tsp. dried Minced Onion (dried very important, tastes totally different than fresh minced onion)
the rest can be fresh or dried: 1 tsp. dried Parsley Flakes 1/2 tsp. dried Chives 1/4 tsp. Onion Powder 1/4 tsp. Garlic Powder (or 1-2 cloves fresh garlic, minced) 1/4 tsp. dried Dill 1/4 tsp salt 1/4 tsp black pepper
If the consistency is thick, add just a touch more buttermilk.
let it sit in the fridge for half a day or so
restaurant quality ranch, way better than bottled store shit.
makes about 4-5 servings

Kenji also had a homemade ranch recipe but it was yogurt based and I didn't like it as much as buttermilk. It was still good though. The one I posted is some random one I found and tweaked a bit.
