i literally heard about this from a clerk at the store before the internet. and she's similar age. that i've like, "oh, yeah, it was kind of the original," and that i actually more remember it showing up as a parody, like in austin powers, and she nods. but then she's trying to follow up on my "it was kind of the original" thing and she can't quite place it and, just shooting from the hip, zero thot, i said: "it was a talk show, but it was also a wrestling show" she was just kind of... fuck, yeah, that's it. and i left the store. and i realized i'd nailed it even better than i realized with that. i just said it, you know? but that's it. that's fucking it. RIP |

please let me know if any entertainment journalists get on the same tip. that this was the vibe of late 80s, early 90s pro wrestling glued into the talk show format. insight copyright epicmegatrax. i can't stop someone from writing that as an established author in a position where lots of people will actually attribute the insight to them, even if i had it first -- but still, just keep me posted. if anyone "credible" writes that bit up please post it here for my scrapbook |
