"fuckin' california" --bruce willis i've not really a recollection of a comprehensive write-up -- that, perhaps, mine is the first -- but i think these pieces fit. recently, google image search basically switched to "if you're not signed in, safe-search is stuck at safe" and dfjhgkdfg you twits ...but this law drops the jammer on jan 01, 2024, and i'm realizing: this is google getting compliant ahead of time. as california has declared this law, and it's the internet, VPNs whatever, the whole internet now must be fucking child-proofed. that i have not signed into youtube in years, except to upload the occasional jam vid. now i suspect anything that says FUCK will be unviewable unless you log into google with your identity, proving you are over 18 and california has had some good hits; but this is crap. even worse than the fucking impossible-to-remove P52 tags on every fucking bit of shit fuckin' california. (p.s. -- is my analysis wrong? it's my best guess) |

it does have a ring to it, like... when guns are outlawed, the only people that will have guns... that california can get stuffed. this may, actually, finally kill youtube as a mainstream mechanism for sharing music [rap in particular; lol]. but who here can't get around that and find what they want on a VPN; no identity required? the real tragedy will be, like, is worth1000 or whatever still around? some photo getting them sued. that, rightly, someone will fight the case. that, sadly, if it gets to the supreme court, it's all obviously fucked, thanks to trump. that, yeah, though. this is rich agar for lawsuit. that -- probably the worse harm -- some preggers teen with conservative parents being unable to access counseling without their parents finding out -- not a good case. instead, very clearly -- you have me no right to share the tubgirl image simply because i can't prove everyone connecting to my webserver is over 18 |

the government has no right to deny you to host the tubgirl image on your webserver simply because you cannot prove anyone connecting to it is over 18. it's obnoxious, but i think this has real legal basis |

orrr, peeple will succumb and login i am permalogged to give thumbs and comments since the latest climate strike and demonstration/riot in lützerath (you remember the mighty mud wizard?) a political satire in the gov funded programme recently started its 44 min. show with the pictures of the police stuck in mud, to discuss police brutality, laws and profiling in germany. best show this decade. now, im all pro police, but thats easy for me to say since im never in their profile and some of what they do enabled by asshole politicians is flat out disgusting. |

so what are they really gonna do, proof of age? like pics of your id card before you can have a 18+? that would be nasty... usually its sufficient to have a e-mail adress of some sort, which doesnt actually care if your input info is correct. |
